Traffic Control
The traffic lights are not automatic. They're controlled by a man who sits in this little booth. It's shaped like a hat. Unfortunately the traffic lights were broken and nobody was there.

Crossing
Aruthaya is mostly on an island. The train station is not on the island, there is a major road crossing (no fun to walk) or you can take the 4-baht ferry.
